Pattern Skirt 2 Ways

Printed skirts are perfect for Spring. Here are two ways I styled this blue and white printed skirt. I’ve been very influenced by monochromatic looks so for the first outfit I paired the skirt with a blue ombre blouse that is both casual and dressy. It can be worn tucked in to look funky and sophisticated or loose over the skirt for a more laid-back vibe. Going with this whole casual yet dressy theme are nude flats from Zara that have an amazing ankle strap aka jewelry.

The look on the right takes on color blocking and plays with shades of blue at the same time. I have no words for this necklace. It looks like tree branches, and is a statement necklace, and is blue. Perfection? I think so. The white peplum top is simple but powerful because of its construction. It also gives all the attention to the skirt. Blue and yellow are colors that compliment each other very well, and these mary jane platforms are the perfect yellow for this skirt and dress up the entire outfit without being over the top.

Basically, patterned skirts are extremely versatile and can be paired with almost anything. Have fun with your looks and don’t be afraid to go bold!
