Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!! by treerochelle featuring Pier 1 Imports

Happy Halloween everyone! I give to you a collage of wonderful Halloween themed items. This is the day we can eat candy for hours. This is when we get to pretend to be witches or a flapper and people think we are normal. I may not have exciting plans for Halloween but I still love it and will be re-watching all four Halloweentown movies and eating chocolate. Have a lovely and safe day!

Affordable Fall Pieces

Affordable Fall Pieces by treerochelle featuring a gold bracelet

I know I know it’s well into fall, but it’s never too early or too late to talk about affordable, cute, fashion related items. I love creating imaginary outfits with my imaginary wardrobe, but in the real world we all have budgets. Old Navy has really stepped up its game recently and has a ton of great fall pieces and even winter transition items (*gasp* talking about winter already goodbye sun). Forever 21 and its greatness is not a secret, so if you have a need to go shopping all the time like I do, Forever 21 is your place. Also, let’s talk about this plaid/chain bracelet from Forever 21. It basically has a million trends in one and great for those of you hesitant about rocking the plaid/tartan trend this season.

Fall Nail Colors

Fall Nail Colors by treerochelle featuring Essie

{Top row: Essie Shearling Darling, Essie Mind Your Mittens, OPI In The Car-Pool Lane}

{Bottom row: Essie For The Twill Of It, Zoya Dream, Butter London Silly Billy}

Your wardrobe gets a fall makeup why not your nails? My nail polish loves happen to be very similar to fall fashion loves: dark and deep colors like burgundy, a little shimmer and a wild card like For The Twill Of It, which is meant to have an awesome holographic effect. CVS used to only sell a few Essie colors but lately I’ve seen an entire section devoted to Essie so get excited my fellow beauty drugstore fans!

Neutral Eyes

Neutral Eyes by treerochelle featuring a lorac eye-shadow

I only recently joined the Naked palette bandwagon and have to say it is amazing. It has fueled my love of neutral smokey eyes for day or night. Now that I have began my obsession with eyeshadow palettes, here are a few others worth trying. The Urban Decay basics palette is probably the most talked about palette. Maybe you’re a bit of a makeup hipster and don’t want to follow the trends, but when a mob of makeup obsessed people tell you a palette is worthy, you listen to them. I also heard great reviews for the Lorac Pro Palette and plan on checking that out at Sephora soon. Last, the Stila In The Know Palette, also a well known palette. Stila has a whole line of “in the” palettes, all worth checking. This one has been my favorite based on looks alone because of its versatile nature.  Basically, neutral eyeshadows are the black/white of beauty.

Booties For All

Booties For All by treerochelle featuring kenneth cole reaction boots

I love booties. That is all. They are my favorite type of shoe at the moment, come in so many styles and are extremely versatile. You can find them at almost any price point these days, any color and texture too. I will be rocking the bootie this season, but what boot style is your favorite? Comment below!

Black/White Always

Black/White Always by treerochelle featuring blue denim jeans

Do people get bored with black and white? I love it. Every time for every season. I get bored with so many things, why not black and white? Without being a cliche, this combination is so classic that you can’t help feel like a classy sophisticated lady when wearing it. At the end of the day, we all want to look chic and put together, and that is why we never get tired of black and white.

1 Blouse 2 Ways

1 Blouse 2 Ways by treerochelle featuring denim jeans

I’m probably not alone in becoming obsessed with an item of clothing and wanting to wear it every way possible. The best clothes are the versatile ones. For this fact alone I’m grateful color blocking and pattern mixing are still in style since it doubles our opportunity to wear our clothes. I love seeing one item styled for both casual and evening looks which is what I give to you today. The blouse is my favorite transitional piece. Whether transition to you means summer to fall, winter to spring, day to night, etc. the blouse has a place in each of them. For day, you can throw it over jeans with a tall boot, a cute bag, simple jewelry and done. chic. comfortable. For night, show off your stealth pattern mixing abilities with a printed blazer, but keep the rest of the outfit more subdued ( and by that I mean leather, stilettos and powder blue clutches). We could talk about blouses for days so I will leave you with the image of Jimmy Choo heels we all wish we owned.

Ladylike

Just a little feminine inspiration for today. I normally try and balance my looks, but sometimes a girl just needs a polka dot dress and some classic pumps.

Classic Style

Classic Style by treerochelle featuring a beige blouse

Simple, effortless, chic, so many words to describe this outfit. My uniform lately has been a blouse that I can just drape over jeans or black pants like these. I love the more casual nature of this look even though it can be appropriate for work. I have been obsessing over loafers lately and luckily there are so many styles out there. Heels get so much attention but I am a flats girl at heart. A simple outfit is screaming for a tribal inspired statement necklace to add some punch. This olive suede bag was a just a no brainer element to a fall look.

So be comfy and chic this fall, it can be our secret.
